THE COMIC BOOK NETWORK ELECTRONIC MAGAZINE (CBEM) commenced publication in
1995. The online magazine allowed the members of a BBS network to communicate
information and their views about comics and related subjects to the world via the internet. The
E-Mag presented a large volume of facts and discussions to comic book collectors for eleven
years. But in July 2006 CBEM published its last newsletter.
When ComicBookShopper learned of this - we immediately requested permission to archive
the large numbers of issues put out by the Comic Book Network. Much thanks is owed to the
writers of CBEM and especially its editor, who granted permission and provided the cumulative
body of work produced in those 11 years.
